Tell us your budget, preferred vehicle type, age and kilometre limits, essential features and timing. We use the agreed brief to source dealer-supplied used vehicles. Availability depends on the cars dealers can offer at the time; we do not maintain our own stock.
Look beyond the advertised price
Used vehicles can differ in variant, model year, kilometres, service history, condition and inclusions. We gather the details dealers provide and present written offers so you can compare the full driveaway price and relevant differences. Unknown information remains subject to confirmation.
Inspection is a separate step
Car sourcing is not a mechanical inspection or a guarantee of vehicle condition. Consider an independent inspection before committing to a used vehicle. Inspection scope, access, cost and timing need separate agreement. Dealer statements and photos do not replace an independent assessment.
Confirm the details before committing
Ask for clarification of service records, warranty terms, vehicle identity, reported condition and any outstanding checks. We help coordinate those questions with the dealer. Contract terms, deposit arrangements and collection requirements come from the supplying dealership.
Coordinate the changeover
If you are trading in, we can gather dealer trade-in offers and compare the overall amount you need to pay. You buy the replacement car and trade in your current car directly with the dealership. Neither vehicle passes into Changeover Auto ownership.
How our fee works
The supplying dealership pays Changeover Auto $660 including GST after delivery. The fee is included in its quoted driveaway price. You do not pay a separate Changeover Auto service fee. Any separately approved external services, such as an independent inspection, may cost extra. We disclose the fee and relevant dealer relationships before sourcing begins.
Serving Sydney buyers
Tell us your postcode and where you are willing to collect a car. We confirm the scope we can coordinate and show the vehicle location in your proposal. Collection and transport arrangements depend on the supplying dealership and need confirmation.
